Kirkby Fleetham School

Welcome

Welcome to our school. We hope you enjoy watching our short, award-winning film ‘Watch Us Grow’, which was inspired by the fabulous play tree on our village green – a symbol of the life, love, laughter and learning at our very wonderful little school. The song is performed by the children of Kirkby Fleetham Primary School and was written by songwriter and Base Leader Kirsti-Anna Hume. The music was produced by Andy Yeadon Music, with special thanks to drummer Rob Yeadon (Ex-drummer from the amazing band James) who plays on the track. In March this year, our film reached the final of the Smiley Charity Film Awards in Leicester Square, London, and we were delighted to win the People’s Choice Award in our category, proving that small schools can do big things! You can read more about this on our ‘Watch Us Grow’ page.

At Kirkby Fleetham C of E School we believe that all children deserve every opportunity to achieve and be the very best that they can be. Our staff are committed to ensuring that the children are at the heart of everything we do, and we provide an exciting, rich and varied curriculum to challenge and inspire them. We value academic and personal success and have high expectations of behaviour and effort. Our children have fun together and work hard together.

Our School is a charming Victorian building set in a picturesque village in North Yorkshire. It caters for children aged 4 – 11 years old and consists of an Infant and Junior class. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, caring school with a strong Church of England ethos.

The children, staff and wider community are very proud of our school. If you are looking for a school place for your child, please do contact us and arrange a visit. We would be delighted to show you around.
