Registered charity no. 1062613
Welcome from “The Friends” of our amazing school.
So what are “The ‘Friends’’ all about ……
Many of you may not realise but as parents and guardians, we are all members of “The Friends”. It is a charity and we have a committee which meets once a term in the Beeswing Inn. Formed back in the 1980s to help all of our children to enjoy some extra resources, visits and treats that make our small school an amazing place to learn.
You can be as involved as much you want to be. It doesn’t have to be a big commitment, no matter how much support or time you can give, any help is greatly appreciated.
A ‘WhatsApp’ group has been set up to let us all know about what’s going on eg:- meetings, event dates or should anything be needed, like an extra table or gazebo.
Events Organised by ‘The Friends’ this term so far:
- Children’s School Disco
- Scarecrow Trail
- Christmas Wreath Making
- Christmas Chocolate Bingo
- Monthly sweet stall
- Northallerton Town Hall Event – Open to the public. Stalls including books, bric-a-brac, toys, Cakes, refreshments etc
If anyone has any suggestions for new events or to improve the existing ones, come along to one of the meetings held in the Beeswing Inn.
Current Trustees/Committee Members are: Mrs Kirstie Petch (Acting Headteacher), Maxine Fitzpatrick (Chair), Sharon Crisp (Treasurer), Melba Chambers (Secretary), please feel free to see us at school or send a message via the School Office.
